Employees will have flexible start times from 6:00am – 8:30am to operate during our normal business hours of (6:00am “ 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.We offer 2 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Groups Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities: Provide claims expertise support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities Analyze, identify trends and provide reports as necessary Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance Manage subrogation filesThis is a challenging role with serious impact. Youll need to sort through complex situations to understand and clarify where errors happened or where they may continue to happen. Its a fast-paced environment that takes focus, intensity and resilience.Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience 1+ years of claims or collections experience 1+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems Ability to work from 8:00 am or 6:00  – 4:30 PM Central Time for the 1st 6 weeks, Monday through Friday. Regular work schedule will be determined after the initial 6 weeks; adhering to regular business hours If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas.
