AbleTo partners with payers to make high-quality care accessible, affordable and convenient for millions of people to get the treatment they need.As a key member of AbleTos engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring we get it right the first time by driving quality automation throughout our SDLC and participating as a lead engineer within our Lean-Agile product engineering group. You will work with our talented team of remote engineers, designers and product managers to ensure the highest quality of the systems that manage our members care journey. If you love shipping software that delivers deep and meaningful impact to peoples mental and behavioral health, join us!Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Lead a team of quality assurance automation engineers as part of a fast paced and highly motivated Agile team to help design, build and test new features. Lead and define automation test strategy, best practices, and implement & execute automated test cases. Review other team members’ work and hold other team members accountable for high quality software. Work closely with product managers and feature developers to identify feature use cases and devise efficient and repeatable testing processes. Review automation test cases written by automation engineers to ensure requirements are fully met. Coordinate testing activities with quality assurance engineers across releases as required. Assist in setting team goals and ensuring goals are met. Coach, mentor and develop team members. Work with Engineering management to identify and implement process improvements to continuously improve the teams productivity and efficiency.You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of proven experience in software development and automation of Web UI, Mobile and REST APIs. 2+ years of technical leadership experience. Hands on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery with test automation on iOS, Android and web. Extensive experience designing, running and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java and REST-assured. Demonstrated knowledge of test methodologies, test design and extensive QA workflow experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers. If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
