CohnReznick LLP is seeking a Payroll Manager for its growing and fast-paced Finance team. This position is both full-time and remote.CohnReznick is a top National Advisory, Assurance and Tax accounting, firm with a team of over 3,000 employees in 25 cities. Your success is our success!You will be responsible for:Oversee and supervise the organizations payroll function, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed on time, with accuracy and compliance with all federal and state regulationsLead and develop a team of payroll professionals by providing career growth, constructive feedback and performance evaluationsMaintain and update ongoing payroll processes, systems and internal controlsCollaborate with various teams including People & Culture, and Information Technology departments to modify and adapt programming, processing methods, and reporting in response to changes in regulations, withholding rates, reporting needs, etc.Creates and maintains payroll policies and procedures guide for the firm Completes all payroll tax reporting requirements, reconciliations and balancingPerform W-3 and W-2 processing and prepare annual wage reports to employeesOversee processing of all payroll updates (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgradesMake ongoing recommendations to improve processes and internal controls as necessaryMaintain accurate records and reports while problem solving, resolving issues and provide timely responses to daily inquiries, and perform necessary research as neededPrepare relevant reports for management on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basisSupport all internal and external audits related to payrollDevelops a competent and efficient payroll staff by assigning and monitoring tasks,Promote a professional work environment encouraging development and career growthMaintain Relationship with 3rd party payroll vendor, keeping abreast with the status of notices Ad hoc requests as needed throughout the yearYou will need:Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a mid-size (approximately 2-3k employees), multi-state company with international locations BS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plusExcellent understanding of multi-location payroll and local, state and federal rules and laws on payroll taxesFamiliarity with payroll software/HRIS (e.g. UltiPro) and proficient at MS Office (especially Excel)Strong analytical/problem solving skills with an ability to research new and existing laws/regulations.Must possess the ability to manage change and understand impacts as it relates payrollProfessional, reliable, trustworthy, and detail orientedOutstanding communication skills (written and verbal)Why CohnReznick?Endless opportunities to contribute to one of the top advisory, assurance, and tax firmsNetwork of 2,700 professionals committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and giving back to the communities in which we live and workCreative culture that values collaboration in everything we doTeam of professionals motivated by a sense of excellence, integrity, commitment to lifelong learning, respect for one another, adaptability, and making a differenceVaried career paths supported by strong professional development programs and resourcesLearn more:[ Link removed ] – Click here to apply to Payroll Manager Connect with us:[ Link removed ] – Click here to apply to Payroll Manager[ Link removed ] – Click here to apply to Payroll Manager[ Link removed ] – Click here to apply to Payroll ManagerCohnReznick is an organization committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees, clients, partners, and communities.
