This is an exciting opportunity that requires candidates cultivate and maintain an understanding of new work duties being assigned. Analysts are responsible for working tickets as a part of the overall Carrier team. They handle the testing and coordination of physical repairs to lines. They also handle in depth remote troubleshooting for issues such as 8YY, Toll-Free Routing, VoIP call flows, call forwarding, long distance, caller id issues, circuit status, circuit restoration, etc. Analysts in this group work out of a ticket queue, taking calls from Customers, other technicians, Underlying Carriers and working with customers directly. Job Responsibilities:Utilize and multi-task between many systems to verify the services a customer has with us and to ensure they are setup correctlyDoing their part to achieve company metrics – most notably lowering MTTR and increasing customer satisfaction (NPS)Manage customer relationships and show an empathetic response during customer critical situationsWork in depth troubles to resolution.Learn concepts and tools used by Carrier techs to improve ticket quality.Work with team members and Engineers on complex issuesWorking with service delivery and other back office groups to resolve issues that involve their areas of knowledge and responsibility.Proficient with network equipment and network elements for trouble resolution for our business customers services as well as our POTS, DS0, DS1 and some DS3 services.Work with LECS/Vendors to resolve customers troublesPOTS resolution items include NDT, 800 number troubles, LD troubles, Line quality issues, Resolving voicemail troubles, Call routing troubles: Opening IXC reports/tickets and Working with back office translations groups within WindstreamFamiliar with different switching equipment; DMS10,100,500, Genband, 5ESS, MetaswitchImportant note: The Carrier team is an evolving aspect of Windstream. This is an exciting opportunity, but candidates should be adaptable and understanding to new work duties being assigned often.Minimum Requirements:Associate Degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years technical/telephony experience with 4 years directly related to the job; or 7 years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience required.EEO Statement: Windstream is an equal opportunity employer.
