A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
The Operations Manager will provide operational oversight of assigned account relationships. Tasks will include managing proactive pipeline management, identification of client training needs and problem resolution support.
Manage assigned mortgage operations staff (8-12).Manage performance of proactive pipeline routines.Provide support for escalated problem resolution.Resolve operational issues raised by client partners.Work with Learning and Development to determine training needs accounts aimed at increasing production volume or improving loan quality.Identify negative trends associated with key areas such as compliance or loan quality and work directly with team to provide solutions.Interface with internal operations and support areas to identify root cause of issues.Manage process and procedure changes or best practice communication to team.Manage direct reports so as to effectively evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.Effectively communicate with internal and external management/clients/customers/vendors.Establish and monitor monthly forecasting targets.Perform hiring, training, and performance management process activities.While performing the duties of this position, the employee will view, have access to, and work with confidential financial data. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.

Education and Experience
Equivalent experience plus education may be considered in lieu of degree
Five (5) or more years mortgage operations experience – Preferred.
Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience. – Preferred.
Knowledge in Home Equity/2nd Mortgages, a plus.
Previous Mavent, CoreLogic, Interthinks, FHA, VA, DU, and LP experience preferred.
Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment.
Ability to read/analyse/interpret business periodicals/ journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/business correspondence; effectively present information/respond to questions from managers/clients/customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
