Join us and start doing your life’s best work.(sm)The Clinical Quality Health and Safety Manager is responsible for assisting with program development, providing real time data reports to clinical quality, development, and training staff on conducting surveillance surveys, delegation oversight as assigned, PQI investigations and analysis for OptumServes COVID 19 Programs. Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Candidates in the Central Time Zone are highly preferred.Primary Responsibilities: Ability to work effectively across organizational teams to accomplish objectives Ability to research and find evidence-based information and translate into actions Ability to analyze data sets, provide recommendations and drive remediation based on data Support and maintain data platform for vaccine and testing site surveillance assessments Prepare materials with Director for quality management meetings Serve as laboratory subject matter expert with focus on point of care testing Serve as a medication safety (storage/administration) subject matter expert with focus on COVID 19 Vaccine Develop and maintain training materials with the clinical training team based on best practice and regulatory requirements Provide clinical training to clinical quality staff and event staff Provide scheduling support to assure all testing and vaccine sites are surveyed weekly Inspect COVID-19 testing and vaccines site including virtual inspection, for staff/attendee safety and proper adherence to policies Coordinate with experts and teams to assure industry standard supplies and equipment are procured for testing and vaccine events Investigate assigned incidents and PQIs, document findings, cause, and review with appropriate leadership Ability to work across multiple departments and functions to document process as part of policy and procedure development Experience with development of clinical programs or new program delivery models Display excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to foster a culture of clinical excellence and build collaborative relationships Excellent discernment and judgment to use resources effectively and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely, integrated, and effective solutions to business needs Ability to establish credibility with internal and external leaders, individuals, and teams Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and work independently Agility to flexibly respond to shifting priorities and role requirements as circumstances change or unforeseen situations arise Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: A valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in your state of residence Bachelors degree Quality experience and / or certification Previous auditing experience Occupational health and / or Infection control experience Travel up to 30% If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
