Join us and start doing your life’s best work.(sm)The Program Manager will oversee Affordability and Clinical Projects assuming responsibility for their successful and on time delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple subprojects and cross functional teams, sharing information across the projects to ensure alignment and awareness for all relevant stakeholders. You will work with key stakeholders to identify scope, create project roadmaps, address risks, and develop mitigation plans, all while ensuring customer satisfaction.  The ability to build relationships, drive teams to execution, identify process improvements, and produce high-quality reports are key to this role.Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Lead or contribute to the development of Affordability and Clinical Programs or Projects, in consultation with stakeholders Develops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives Coordinates cross-functional teams while managing project tasks involving initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing Manages schedules and performance of projects while ensuring ultimate success of the program Presents periodic status reports on current programs and future opportunities Develops high-quality PowerPoint and other executive-level communications Performs issue/data analysis, and provides explanations and information to others Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources Implements process improvement and standardization to improve team effectiveness Provides critical support to ensure overall quality of project planning and execution, while minimizing and mitigating project risksYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or other health related field, or, High School Diploma/GED and 4 additional years of required experiences as stated in the job description 5+ years of non-technical end-to-end project or program management experience 5+ years of proven experience in managing affordability, utilization management, or clinical programs Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to leadership Proven capability to work with people at multiple levels in a matrix organization at a national level Advanced proficiency using Excel and designing PowerPoint presentations Solid relationship-building skills If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
