required marketing communication process in accordance with Medicare Marketing Guidelines and Best Practices for the OptumRx Employer Group Waiver Plan Prescription Drug Plan (EGWP PDP) and OptumRx health plan clients who delegate communication support to OptumRx. As the Director, your responsibility includes providing strategic direction to Clients and Internal Business Partners regarding all communications required and/or requested to ensure they are in alignment with CMS rules, contractual requirements, and existing business practices.  In addition, this position will manage a Marketing Communication Specialist and a Senior Marketing Communication Specialist.  This is a position that affords you the ability to drive process and improvement initiatives, critical communication strategies, and ensure a best practice approach in the overall management of all communications and to provide expertise and direction to PBM clients who may utilize OptumRx for member communication support while utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients.  This position aligns with the overall corporate objective for ensuring a positive consumer experience, drive improvements in the delivery of health care, and improving the OptumRx Net Promoter Score (NPS) for both internal and external partners. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:  Coordinate the strategic development and distribution of all Medicare member communication materials Direct supervision of designated personnel including hiring/terminating, disciplinary actions, assigning/checking work, performance reviews, compensation recommendations, new hire orientation and training Develop and manage strategic initiatives and tracking for multiple sets of existing client specific communications, including client customization requests Accountability to develop, review and launch CMS approved and on-time materials in support of new client implementations Demonstrated experience in working with clients and internal Account Management leadership to resolve issues Lead meetings with key stakeholders, as required, ensuring awareness and understanding of production service capabilities, goals, and challenges Attend conference calls with clients and internal partners to ensure client expectations are consistently met and exceeded Execute SOPs, policies/procedures that support Medicare compliance, marketing training, and production workflows that drive a compliant, flexible, and effective marketing and member communications Act as the key subject matter expert for all Medicare member communications within the organization or other communication related questions Implement processes with internal departments and clients for non-EGWP Medicare member communications for clients who contract for Consumer Brand Experience (e.g. white label) and, if applicable, full CMS marketing communications support services Develop and provide internal training on CMS member communications and marketing guidance, as needed Drive and enforce production schedules and deadlines both internally and with clients with appropriate follow up to ensure all deadlines are met and incorporate a proper escalation approach to mitigate compliance and contract risks Must be able to promote and ensure client satisfaction via timely and accurate responses, clear communication, and ongoing training/education as required Drive execution of annual communication strategy meeting in preparation for upcoming plan year changes Ensure full readiness action plan is completed for each new plan year (e.g. finalize all upcoming calendar year materials with client approval and manage the Government Programs command center tasks Act as primary liaison with the OptumRx CMS Enrollment Vendor for all enrollment related communications including a full QA process to ensure materials are well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience  5+ years of experience with Medicare Part D PDP operations including an understanding of regulatory guidance  Strong management and leadership experience including leading and managing staff 5+ years of experience in a Client/Account Service support function Excellent communication skills (verbal / written) including collaboration across all areas of the organization to achieve success Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice
