Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life’s best work.(sm)The Associate Directory “ IEX Pharmacy Regulatory Management role will be accountable for the management of and execution against state and federal regulations impacting UHCs Individual Exchange pharmacy offering.  In this role you will be able to advance your knowledge of this growing market and apply your skills in a way that will drive change and innovation.This position is an integral part of the UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy team, reporting to the VP of Pharmacy Network and Exchanges.We prefer a candidate within a commutable distance of our Minnetonka, MN or Pittsburg, PA offices, but will consider nationwide telecommute.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Review all new and existing state and federal regulations covering current and new markets where UHC participates on the Individual Exchange Participate in cross-functional meetings to intake and review new requirements and monitor compliance with existing requirements Interpret regulations as a subject matter expert on the pharmacy offering, and identify any functional impacts Work with impacted functional areas to design and implement changes in policy, processes, or develop new capabilities that will comply with applicable regulations Ensure all changes and capabilities are developed in a manner that maintains the business integrity of the pharmacy product offering Maintain documentation of compliance efforts in a manner that can be reported on both internally and externally Support responses to inquiries coming from regulators related to the compliance of our pharmacy offerings against state and federal requirements Represent the business on small- and large-scale projects as needed to deliver new compliance related capabilities Present to pharmacy and Individual Exchange leadership on the status of all compliance related activities Work directly with state and federal regulators, when necessary, to provide input on the development of new regulations Work closely with local market pharmacy leads to track ongoing legislative activity and potential future impacts to UHC business Coordinate closely with product owners to evaluate the potential impact of new benefit offeringsYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree 5+ years working in health care related field 1+ year of experience in managed a care pharmacy or PBM environment  Experience in a regulatory support role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in managed a care pharmacy or PBM environment Experience work for, or directly with, regulatory agencies Experience working on Individual Exchange business Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from othersCareers at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
