Join us and start doing your life’s best work.(sm)Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Medicare and Medicaid prospective payment software product lines Work with clients to understand needed software enhancements Troubleshoot and respond to regulatory and product inquiries from clients Resolve and/or escalate product issues in a timely fashion Lead and coordinate the regulatory activities for all Medicare and Medicaid prospective payment software products including inquiries to government agencies Work with business analysts and product managers to ensure that regulatory changes and enhancements are properly implemented in software products Review end user documentation created by technical writers to ensure regulatory accuracy Manage and mentor a team of 4 regulatory and product SMEs Develop other leaders within the team while serving as a role model Facilitate team meetings effectively Effectively communicate regulatory and product information to superiors Respond/act on upper-management direction Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics or science 4+ years experience with prospective payment methodologies Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills Strong verbal and written communication skills If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
